This is a prayer of thanksgiving for our son Anthony with schizophrenia, who this week was approved for disability social security. Four years of filling out forms, hiring a lawyer, praying and sharing his story finally paid off. We are most grateful to St. Michael the Archangel. We prayed to him to fight Anthony’s battle with him for 40 days. On the 40th day, the feast of the Archangels, the letter came with the good news.

My mom Carolyn’s Medicare was terminated due to non payment. She’s being treated for but still suffering with severe anxiety/depression & thought premiums were being deducted as usual all along. She has to pay out of pocket for her many prescriptions while waiting for reinstatement. She’s on a fixed income & even w/ discount programs, this is destroying her financially on top of her emotional suffering. Please pray her Medicare is now reinstated immediately & that she has full coverage again. Please also pray she’s somehow reimbursed for these expenses immediately as well.

My name in Mallory and I’ve been battling a chronic illness for the last two years. I never thought that at 36 years of age I’d be relying on my mom Leslie Nist for so much help and support. She means the world to me and I'm forever grateful for her. Just when caregiver burnout was about to rear its ugly head, she got with some news of her own. It’s the two of us and my cat. My condition is debilitating and there is more I wish I could do physically to help my mom. All I can think of is to help keep her spirts high and ask for prayers. I humbly come before you today with a heartfelt prayer request for my dear mother, who selflessly serves as my caregiver while battling cancer. She is currently undergoing treatments for melanoma, and I earnestly ask for your prayers and intercession on her behalf.
First and foremost, I beseech you to join me in fervent prayer for the complete eradication of cancer from my mother's body. May the treatments she receives be divinely guided to destroy every trace of this disease, allowing her to experience restoration and renewed health. I kindly request that you petition the Lord for His healing touch upon her, that she may be delivered from this affliction.
Furthermore, I humbly ask for your prayers that the medications administered to my mother do not cause excessive sickness or fatigue. May she be spared from the debilitating side effects, so that she may regain her strength and vitality. I pray that these medicines bring her comfort and aid in her recovery.
In this time of vulnerability, I also ask for your prayers for the nurses who will be caring for my mother. May they exhibit kindness, compassion, and attentiveness in their interactions with her. I pray that their presence brings her solace and reassurance, as they attend to her physical and emotional well-being.
Lastly, should it be necessary for my mother to undergo surgery, I implore you to join me in seeking divine guidance. May the hands of our Lord Jesus guide the doctors and medical team involved in her care. I trust that through His wisdom and divine intervention, they will perform their duties with skill, precision, and compassion.
